Producer.ai Launches Nano Banana 2 and Grants Free Credits to Fuel Model Feedback
Producer.ai rolled out a major platform update this week, giving users Day 1 access to Nano Banana 2, a new image and cover art generator built on Google DeepMind technology. (Producer.ai is now also a part of the DeepMind consortium.)
The tool is described as the platform’s fastest and most capable image generator yet, expanding Producer.ai beyond music generation into visual creation — particularly cover art and promotional assets for tracks.
Alongside the launch, the company issued a large wave of free Producer.ai credits to drive usage and feedback. All free users received 2,000 credits, while paid subscribers were granted 4,000 credits. The credit distribution is tied directly to improving the platform’s music model, Lyria 3, which the team calls a foundational preview still under active development.
Users are encouraged to create, share, favorite, listen to, and rate model outputs to help refine performance. Anonymous feedback contributes to system improvements, with an opt-out available in settings.
The update signals a clear strategy: expand creative tooling while accelerating model iteration through structured community feedback.
