AI Underground Launches Custom Radio, Merch, and 24-Hour Charity Stream

AI:Underground marked its much-hyped “Announcement Day” with a coordinated rollout that formalizes its evolution as one of the leading AI music creator Discord hubs.

The centerpiece is the launch of the new AIU Custom Radio at radio.aiu.fm, a rebuilt system featuring reactions, comments, GIF support, visualizers, and creator profiles. Developed internally by community members, the platform creates a permanent home for the daily Listening Parties and catalog playback beyond the pace of chat.

To support scale, AIU also introduced a dedicated Listening Party submission portal, replacing link-heavy chat drops with a centralized intake system. Migration from the previous radio resulted in some early-upload gaps, with creators encouraged to update metadata and re-upload where needed.

Commerce is now part of the ecosystem. The official AIU merch shop is live at shop.aiu.fm, with pricing set to cover base costs and fees. In development is the AIU Mall, which will allow Level 25+ creators to launch and manage their own merch storefronts within a shared hub — adding a monetization layer to the community structure.

Alongside platform expansion, AI:Underground announced a 24-hour Twitch charity stream benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Partnering with Midnight Tea, AI Umbrella, True Rock Alliance, Distraction Radio, and AI Music Embassy, the event includes two submission tracks: “Suno Survivor Spotlight” for personal cancer stories and the open “AI Beats Cancer” challenge focused on resilience and hope.

Seven and a half months in, AI:Underground is adding systems, storefronts, and cause-driven programming to a community already known for high-output Listening Parties and consistent presence on Suno’s trending charts.

The build phase is clearly underway.
